  • 400g cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 125ml mayonnaise
  • 60ml sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 125ml each of grated parmesan, havarti, gruyère, and mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices of sourdough bread

Instructions

  1. Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil and butter over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, melted butter, garlic, and cheeses. Mix well.
  3. Toast the sourdough bread slices under the broiler until lightly golden.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture on each toast and top with sautéed mushrooms.
  5. Broil again until the cheese is bubbly and golden (about 3-5 minutes). Serve warm.
