  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar for coating
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for icing
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake filling by beating softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in eggs and remaining vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough portions, flatten them, add cheesecake filling in the center, and seal to form balls.
