  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasonings
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 10 whole cloves garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic cloves until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the garlic and stir to combine. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth; add beef bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, thyme, and mustard powder. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet; simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese if desired; cook until heated through.
