Easy Raspberry Coulis is a delightful and vibrant sauce that brings a burst of tangy sweetness to your desserts and breakfast dishes. This easy-to-make coulis, crafted from fresh or frozen raspberries, is a versatile addition to your culinary repertoire.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 370 g raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 1/2 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Cook over medium-low heat while stirring until the raspberries release their juices.
  2. Stir regularly as the mixture comes to a simmer. Keep an eye on it to avoid sticking.
  3. Once simmering, lower the heat and let it cook for around 8 minutes until slightly thickened and all berries have broken down.
  4. Remove from heat and strain through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl, using a spatula to push the pulp through.
  5. Let it cool to room temperature before transferring to a clean jar or airtight container.
