Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of garlic butter. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until thoroughly cooked. Remove and set aside.
  2. Boil salted water in a medium pot. Add linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining garlic butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in cream cheese until smooth; gradually add heavy cream and chicken broth while stirring continuously. Mix in half of the shredded mozzarella cheese until melted; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss cooked linguine into the sauce until well coated. Slice the chicken and arrange on top of the pasta mixture; sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan over everything.
  5. Serve immediately while hot.
