  • lb sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1½ tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup Velveeta cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: pinch of crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook linguine until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Pat steak dry, season with Cajun seasoning and spices.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, sear steak pieces for 2–3 minutes on each side, then set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter with minced garlic until fragrant, return steak to coat in garlic butter.
  5. In another pan, sauté onions until translucent, add garlic, heavy cream, and milk; simmer briefly.
  6. Stir in Velveeta until melted, then add cheddar and Parmesan until smooth.
  7. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce before plating alongside the garlic butter steak.
