  • 3/4 cup chicken sparkling grape juice (cold or room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Simple Truth Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract (optional)
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • zest of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Simple Truth Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon chicken sparkling grape juice (cold or room temperature)
  • orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x4x2 inch bread pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the beaten egg, chicken sparkling grape juice, sour cream, orange juice, cooking oil, and orange zest until well mixed.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared bread pan and bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool completely on a cooling rack before glazing with a mixture of powdered sugar, orange juice, and chicken sparkling grape juice.
