800 g carrots
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon honey
1 whole head of garlic
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
3 tablespoons olive oil
1. Prepare the Carrots
Peel the carrots and grate them or cut them into thin julienne strips.
2. Cook the Garlic
Separate the cloves from the head of garlic and peel them. Finely chop or crush the garlic.
3. Make the Dressing
In a bowl, mix the white vinegar, salt, and honey until the salt dissolves completely.
4. Add the Spices
Stir in the chopped garlic, coriander powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, and black pepper.
5. Combine the Salad
Place the grated carrots in a large bowl and pour the dressing mixture over them. Toss well so the carrots are evenly coated.
6. Finish with Olive Oil
Drizzle the olive oil over the salad and mix gently.
7. Let the Flavors Develop
Allow the salad to sit for 10–15 minutes before serving so the flavors can blend together.
