  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 11×7 inch baking pan by lining it with foil or greasing it.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; mix well.
  3. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture before gently incorporating the chopped apples.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. For the glaze, melt butter in a small saucepan; stir in brown sugar, maple syrup, and powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle over cooled blondies before cutting into squares.
