  • 450 g skinless chicken fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 can pineapple chunks
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 60 ml honey
  • 60 ml rice vinegar
  • Optional: red chili flakes
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced chicken; cook for 5–6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan.
  2. In the same pan, sauté chopped onion for 2–3 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Stir in drained pineapple chunks, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red chili flakes (if using). Let simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Return chicken to the pan; mix well to coat with sauce. Cook for an additional 3–4 minutes.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice.
