  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 head green cabbage
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper
  • 1 orange pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the chicken breasts, onion, orange pepper, and jalapeño; mince the garlic; shred the green cabbage.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry until cooked through and browned (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add onion and cook until softened (about 3 minutes). Add minced garlic and jalapeño; cook for another minute.
  4. Toss in shredded cabbage and diced orange pepper. Pour in chicken stock, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Cook until cabbage is tender-crisp (5-7 minutes).
  5. Return cooked chicken to the skillet, mix well with vegetables and sauce, heating through for another 2-3 minutes.
